About Zam
I have recently graduated with a degree in Mathematics from University College London (world top ten) with over five years of experience in tutoring young people of all backgrounds and learning abilities in their maths studies. I have worked with students both individually and in small groups, helping them to tackle topics they find challenging and understand difficult concepts in an effective and encouraging manner. I strive to help students overcome weaknesses in their studies and exceed in their academic performance.

My classes are tailored to the individual student I am working with, having a good understanding of their strengths and weaknesses in their studies and learning abilities, creating realistic and specific targets to work on the areas of improvement. This involves thorough explanations of topics, step-by-step example questions and plenty of exam practice.

Zam worked closely with my child at the Kumon Tuition centre, often one-to-one and sometimes in a small group. My child progressed very quickly in their maths studies after being tutored by Zam - it was clear to me they were taught very well and also enjoyed the sessions they had with her. It appeared Zam would make every student in the group feel included and comfortable and always maintained friendliness. Would recommend.
I had a great experience with Zam who supported me in achieving my target grade for my GCSE maths. Maths had never been my strongest subject and I struggled to understand a lot of topics, for which Zam helped me grasp and gain a sound understanding of. She tutored me at a pace that I felt comfortable at, and created a friendly professional relationship with me such that I could always speak up when I was stuck and asked questions whenever I needed.
