About Edgar
I went to high school in the country in North Carolina. My math teacher
was old school and tough but caring and changed many lives including mine. Like I mentioned earlier she believed that everyone could gain skill at math with commitment to learning. That is, doing problems, problems and more problems. When I was a senior she became sick and because a replacement couldn't be found I taught her algebra I and II classes. I went on to receive a BS in Mathematics in college and have done tutoring off and on ever since then. Recently I tutored a youg man who lived in a group home in Orlando to prepare him for college. He successfully got in with good scores on the SAT,
