About Tiina
I am a mathematics teacher and ICT expert, and I am driven by a strong interest in how learning can be made clear, meaningful and genuinely supportive of the learner. I believe that everyone can learn mathematics when teaching adapts to the needs of the individual and progresses calmly, building understanding. I want to teach because I find it meaningful to help students figure things out for themselves – not just to memorize, but to understand. For me, teaching is also about interaction, listening and thinking together. Sharing my expertise feels natural because I have seen how the right kind of support can change a student’s self-confidence and relationship with learning. My goal is to create learning situations where curiosity, calmness and the experience of success are at the center.

I am a mathematics teacher with a strong background in ICT and digital learning solutions. I am particularly motivated by learning that combines curiosity, creativity and individual progress – without technology taking up too much space from thinking itself. I believe in calm, encouraging teaching that genuinely listens to the student, where everyone can progress at their own pace. My long experience as a single parent has developed patience, empathy and the ability to meet different learners as individuals. My goal is to make mathematics understandable, meaningful and even inspiring – combining logical thinking, practicality and modern tools.
