About Shafeequah
I am an experienced teacher of several years specialising in: Maths, Physics and Chemistry (from primary school level up to GCSEs). I have also taught English for a year in a Chinese Public School and participated in several Summer School programmes. My teaching approach is to work alongside my student’s study curriculum targeting the areas in which they are struggling the most. I aim to provide the easiest way for students to get an understanding and grasp of each topic. Then from a solid understanding of the theory, I work to boost their confidence by providing them with as many chances to practise and test their knowledge in a variety of ways. This will usually consist of a session ranging from an hour to one hour and a half. Overall, I work to create an enjoyable learning experience where students can grow and allow their studying experiences to be positive. Shafeequah is a wonderful teacher. She is very patient, and ensured that I understood several mathematical concepts thoroughly. I had difficulties initially comprehending trigonometry and probability based questions. However, she made flash cards and downloaded various examples from external sources, and made up her own exercises to ensure I grasped these complex concepts.
