About Lo
My very first teaching job was at Kumon when I was just 15 years old. Over the years I have worked predominantly in hospitality or teaching roles, both of which I enjoy greatly.
I adore mathematics and I hope to be able to instill my passion for the subject in the students that I work with too.

Clear methods and examples are important to me. I like to colour-code the example alongside the method so we can easily pinpoint precisely where understanding falters.
I will always check what a student knows already about a given topic so that I stick with methods they are already familiar with.
Some students like to see all the different ways something can be done, many students prefer one clear method that they can repeat. I'm good at understanding the type of learner in front of me so that I tailor my approach appropriately.
I'm engaging, understanding & encouraging and want to get the very best out of each student I work with.
