About Jade
I am a fourth year student at McGill University, pursuing studies of Economics and International Relations. I come from France, was born and raised in Paris where I attended an international high school. I have now been a tutor on superprof for over 8 months, teaching to 5 different students on a weekly basis. All of my students have different levels, I know perfectly how to work depending on each and everyone's needs.
I have been giving private French lessons for three years now, and in different contexts: tutoring elementary to high school students, teaching adults from different countries (mostly Middle East) remotely through Skype. I have also been tutoring five students through super prof last year, and am currently tutoring other new ones this year.

My teaching method varies depending on students' needs. I am a very enthusiastic and experienced tutor, with both children and adults, and I believe that learning a language requires creativity and entertaining interactions, which I guarantee in my teaching style !
For students in need of tutoring, but who are currently enrolled in a French class (at school):
- Run a quick test to assess the level of the student and figure out the strengths and weaknesses in French, in order to determine what to focus on (vocabulary, verbs, pronunciation, writing, oral comprehension...)
- Review the material covered in class, assessment of what's understood and what needs to be reviewed
- Helping with homework and preparation for tests
For students in need of private lessons:
- Assessment of student's level, strength & weaknesses
- A typical session will be composed of a "theme" (that we can decide together, based on the student's interest), in order to review the related vocabulary, expressions...
- Sessions will include both a theoretical part pertaining to vocabulary, verbs, and tenses, and a more practical part with interactive dialogues, and fun/entertaining activities to learn, memorize and practice your French !
- I can also help to prepare for professional interviews, email writing, resume writing, or any other form of writing in French that needs to be proofread.

Perfect! Jade was exceptional. She rapidly adjusted to my level of French and had me excited for more at the end of our session. She is the perfect teacher!
Perfect! Jade has all the qualities of GREAT teacher as she exemplifies extreme competence in the French language and is able to motivate and guide the learner while helping you discover the beauty and nuance of French. It matters not if you are a complete beginner or perfecting your conversation skills, Jade has complete patience and she inspires confidence while personalizing the learning environment to your individual needs. What I like most about Jade is that she is not at all judgmental and exudes a hopefulness and motivation that is contagious and makes learning the French language fun and exciting. When your teacher is as passionate about the language as Jade is, it makes it easy and rewarding to learn and you want to keep learning. Jade is extremely friendly and patient and I can't say enough about her wonderful relaxed teaching style. I look forward to each and every lesson !!
