About April
I am a 1st year PhD student in Mechanical Engineering studying controls, optimization, and robotics. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in 2022. Throughout my education at UF, I was a teaching assistant for Senior Design, and frequently received overwhelmingly positive evaluations from my students regarding my ability to explain difficult content in an easy, engaging, and sensible way. While I am a researcher by profession, I have always had a passion for teaching, and look forward to helping you succeed as both a student and an engineer!

I am willing to tutor any student struggling with their introductory engineering courses, whether it be Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, or anything in between! I work through problems in a step-by-step, logical manner that will help you fully understand the fundamentals of the course and how to apply them to new problems. I struggled a lot as a student taking these courses, so I understand the pitfalls of learning such difficult concepts for the first time, and I can teach you some tips and tricks I learned as an engineer to get through it!
