About Umar
I have the since-childhood passion of helping children understand and enjoy learning. My background in Mechatronics Engineering supports me in giving support in math and physics that is backed by real-life applications. I tutored K-12 students in different subjects for more than 6 years, both online and in-person. My teaching style is patient, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I aim not just to improve grades, but also to spark curiosity about learning.

I focus on making learning clear, practical, and engaging by adapting each lesson to the student's level and needs. My lessons usually begin with a short review, followed by step-by-step teaching of new concepts using real-world examples, and ending with practicing typical problems. I believe in active learning, not just memorization. What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex topics in a simple and patient way. My lessons are accessible for all K-12 students who face difficulties in STEM subjects like math and physics. I also help students preparing for exams, solving homework problems and assignments, and needing personalized academic support.
