About Derek
I am a current medical student who is interested in education and working with students from all different backgrounds. I received my undergraduate degrees in biology and computer science from a top 10 American university. Not only do I love tutoring and teaching, I enjoy making subjects interesting to learn and helping motivate students to be self-driven. As I teach, my goal is to help the student reflect on his or her previous knowledge to nurture a true understanding of a topic.
