About Jerrad
My name is Jerrad Vitatoe and I was born and raised in Denver, CO. I graduated college from Metro State Denver with my Computer Science degree. Throughout my school journey, I struggled immensely in the beginning, it was so bad, that I changed my degree field and dropped out not long after. A couple of years later when I was laid off from a job I thoroughly enjoyed and could have made my life career out of, I decided to go back to school and try it again. In my 2nd year back, again I struggled to grasp concepts but this time failure was not an option. I had to find and use the resources available to me, so after many one-on-one sessions with my professors, I was directed to a posting board that had personal tutor contacts. Taking that contact changed my whole degree trajectory, after that year, my confidence went through the roof! That tutor gave me the understanding I wasn't getting in the classroom and saved me from making the mistake of changing fields again or dropping out completely this time. I want to try and be that catalyst for somebody now. I continue to learn new things every day and it excites me to be able to teach what I learn. The world needs more Engineers!

I am a very easy-going and humble guy! If there is something I don't know(Which in this industry happens a lot), I'm always willing and most times eager to learn it! I believe teaching is a cornerstone to solidifying and reaffirming the skills I've learned thus far. I am targeting Computer Science 1st and 2nd-year students, who need help with programming assignments or test prep.
