About Megan
I am a microbiologist graduate (with a minor in chemistry) who has been training in biology and similar fields for ten years. I was a TA in college, and have plenty of experience teaching students who are struggling to grasp scientific concepts.

Typically, I teach my students from the ground up. I go through the base concepts until I know that they understand, and then I move to more complicated concepts. If the student does not understand what I'm attempting to explain, I make sure to change the way that I am describing, and might use metaphors or relate it to a more familiar concept for them.
