About Katherine
I am a Hi! My name is Katie and I work as a tutor for STEM topics, mostly math and science. I am dedicated to helping you master the material we work on. I work extra hard to help with problems or additional questions outside of meeting time to ensure success. I have been tutoring for six years, starting with elementary school students and special needs students while in high school. Additionally, I have tutored math and science topics for college and high school students. On the side I often travel to different small groups, such as classes or clubs, discussing topics of science and performing experiments. I graduated valediction along while earning other academic awards, such as becoming an AP Scholar with Distinction. I have maintained a status on the Dean's list throughout my time in college. I am not a large business and am trying to continue to use my tutoring services during this trying time. If you have any questions please let me know!

My teaching method is to get to know the student first to better understand how they learn. Then I go through specific topics that the student struggles with to master those one at a time. I also encourage work outside the session which I am always available to review and go over.
