About Allie
hello! I’m Allie! I’m 35, mom of two girls: Athena 8 & Alivia 2. I graduated in 2012 from the University of Delaware. I have taught in early childhood for 13 years. 2 of those years I taught special education k-4 in a charter school in Chester PA. Now I am an administrator in a preschool's. My title or position is classroom and curriculum support. I am experienced in working with a wide range of ages, abilities, and skill levels. I will adapt to the needs of the learner in order to best reach goals.

Truly this depends upon the subject. A mix of hands-on, concrete, real-life experiences, with theory and concepts. Math & science are best learned through physical experiences and therefore will be explored and practiced in a variety of methods. Reading will center upon discovery of the love for everything literature related. There will be a large focus on effective study skills and memory techniques. Moods and attitudes affect learning and retention and so FUN will be a central element of every lesson.
