About Israel
I am a PhD researcher in Music, with a Master's degree in Composition from the University of Oxford. I have taught piano, violin, and music theory since 2013 and have had students of all ages, ranging from 7-year-olds playing simple songs to 16-year-olds preparing for Grade 8 exams. Personally, I have been a soloist in recitals and orchestral performances, and an accompanist for professional recitals and exams.

I am best at teaching students who know what they want. My lessons take a 'music clinic' structure: you tell me what you want to achieve, such as take an exam, learn your favourite piece, etc., and I use my most efficient ways to help you accomplish it. For intermediate students and up, I can actively expand your piano repertoire.

Perfect! For our first lesson, Israel assessed my ability and formulated a specific plan tailored to my weaknesses. I feel confident in the direction we are going in and he is extremely enthusiastic and prompt with replies. I look forward to making progress with him.

Israel is really talented in languages. He is patience, fun, easy to get along and full of charisma as a tutor ! I definitely highly recommend him as your children's private tutor! He is a religiously faithful Christian too! Amazing calibre and trustworthy professional !I have known Israel for many years and always wondered how come he can master so many languages. He is proficient in German, French, Swedish, and Polish! When I heard that he started teaching and sharing his secrets, I jumped at the opportunity to learn French from him.
I am a beginner and not a natural, but Israel is empathetic, patient and encouraging. He prepares excellent classes which are tailored to my needs. To me, French was challenging, especially the pronunciation, but Israel shared his down-to-earth tips and they were really helpful. He put me at ease.
