Hi, my name is Tom. I have an MSci in Chemistry from Imperial College London, and achieved four A* grades in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at A level (pre-university exams). I have over six years experience in tutoring, and have helped dozens of students to achieve their objectives.
During university I spent two years tutoring economically disadvantaged children with the social mobility charity ‘Team Up’. I was elected president of Imperial’s division, managed all tutors from my university and contributed to overall charity strategy.
I currently work as a professional tutor in London, tutoring over 15 students. I have received numerous recommendations as a result of the excellent service I provide. Not only do I prepare students for exams and ensure they achieve above their targets, but I also ensure that their entire approach to problem solving is improved so that they can excel in whatever field they move on to in the future.
I am very friendly and like to build a relationship with the families I work with. I am also a native English speaker.
I tutor Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for GCSE and Physics and Chemistry for A level. I can set homework and mark it outside of lessons at no additional cost if desired.
