About Camille

- I am a native French teacher (from France). - I am a certified French as a Second Language teacher, with the diploma DAEFLE (Diplôme d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère) (2016) - I own a Master's Degree in Translation Studies from the ISTI in Brussels (Institut Supérieur des Traducteurs et Interprètes) (2009) - I have over 10 years in the language industry and over 4 years of experience teaching languages internationally with private and group classes in language institutes (in Toronto, at the Alliance Française, at the École Québec in Brazil, at other language schools in France) - I have experienced the difficulties of learning other languages myself and it allows me to understand my students and identify their questions and doubts. - I speak English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. - I am fun :) and I always bring a positive energy in my class. - I love teaching and sharing my passion for languages. - Seeing my students learning and improving is so rewarding!

About the lesson

- During our first class, we define together your level and your goals. - I teach level A1 to C2 following the levels and curriculum of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. - I teach with the Alter Ego textbook (which I provide) and other textbooks and materials that I find suitable based on your interests and needs during the whole learning process. - I also introduce authentic materials such as podcasts, videos, movies, songs, documentaries, etc... to make the class interesting and engaging for the student. - We will work on oral and written expressions and comprehension, accent and phonetics, role play and conversation, grammar, expressions. - If you have specific needs and requests, I will adapt to them and create customized classes and programs for you (pronunciation, phone calls, writing emails, translating, French expressions...) - At the end of each class, I will share with you a document with all the notes from class (new vocabulary, grammar rules, phonetics, expressions...) - ...and if you are up for it, I will give you some homework (not mandatory!) These classes are for professionals or students who want to learn/improve their French for either professional, personal or academic reasons.
