About Candela
Hi! My name is Candela and I'm a native Spanish teacher from Seville, Spain. I am ELE certified and have over 5 years of teaching experience, both online and in person.
I currently teach at Academia del Español in Bangkok on weekends, while also working as a full-time online tutor with students from all over the world. I have experience teaching adults, children and teenagers, including DELE, IGCSE and GCSE students.
My goal is not only to teach you Spanish, but also to help you build confidence and enjoy the learning process. I believe mistakes are an essential part of learning, so I always create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking from day one.
Every student is different, so I adapt my lessons to your level, goals and learning style. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some knowledge, I will create a structured plan to help you progress step by step.

I am passionate about teaching and have made it my full-time career. My lessons are personalised, structured and engaging, with a strong focus on communication and building confidence.

Wow! I started my Spanish lessons with Candela after trying Duolingo for 3 months. She's the best teacher I've ever had. She is so funny and reliable I couldn't tell the difference between speaking with her and with my friends.
She can adapt to many different necessities and situations. With her, you can learn Spanish through normal conversation, films, music, and games. She has it all!
I really want to go to Spain so I can test my Spanish abilities there, but I am sure people would understand me because I feel like I've been holding a lot of conversations in Spanish during the last months.My nice teacher and she always encourages me to learn grammatically correct.
