About Yanzhen

Hi! I'm Yanzhen, but you can also call me Grace! I grew up in Hong Kong and moved to the United States for college. I have a bachelor's degree in History and am currently pursuing a master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, focusing on User Experience (UX) Design. I love sharing my language and culture with others and making learning Chinese fun and approachable!

About the lesson

My Mandarin Chinese lessons are fun, interactive, and stress-free! I believe learning a language should be enjoyable, so I create a relaxed environment where you can learn at your own pace without worrying about making mistakes.

Each lesson includes reviewing learning materials, practicing vocabulary and pronunciation, and reinforcing what we've learned through fun games, activities, and everyday conversations.

I'm a patient and encouraging tutor who won't scold you for getting something wrong! My lessons are designed for beginner to intermediate learners who want to improve their Mandarin for school, travel, or personal interest. Whether you're starting from scratch or brushing up on your skills, I'm happy to help!
