About Annie
Hi, I'm Annie, a native Chinese based in Shanghai. I've been a language tutor for over two years and have a great passion in teaching Chinese and sharing Chinese culture.
I have a bachelor's degree in English Literature and have experiences in both translation (translate for a TV interview program) and language teaching (English & Chinese) respectively for a couple of years. With a deeper understanding of the language features for both English and Chinese, I know exactly the challenges English speakers meet in Chinese learning. I can explain each language point accurately and make it easier for you to understand through English & Chinese analogy methodology.
I am patient and good at inspiring students to speak out through questions and dialogue, so that they will naturally acquire the language in an easier and more interesting way.
