About Severin

Bonjour! I’m Severin, a native French speaker who moved to the U.S. in 2016 and is now a graduate student in AI and Machine Learning at UT Austin. Passionate about sports, travel, and food, I bring kindness, enthusiasm, and a fun approach to everything I do. Constantly learning and growing as an engineer, I’m equally dedicated to helping others succeed in their French language journey with a friendly, engaging teaching style.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on an immersive, interactive approach tailored to each student’s goals and skill level. I emphasize conversational fluency, grammar, and cultural insights through real-life scenarios, engaging activities, and practical exercises. A typical lesson includes speaking practice, vocabulary building, and tailored feedback. What sets me apart is my experience as a native French speaker who mastered English as a second language, giving me a deep understanding of the challenges learners face. My lessons are ideal for beginners to advanced learners, students preparing for exams, or professionals seeking French for business or travel. Let’s make learning French enjoyable together!
