About LEYLA
I am originally from Fontainebleau, France and have been tutoring French for the past 9 years to students of different ages and levels. From children 6 years old and beyond, to adults who just want to learn the basics for their next trip to France, and many high school and college students enrolled in academic French courses for their studies. I am passionate about teaching and care about the success of each of my students, but especially wish them to connect with the French language and culture. My teaching method is intuitive. I feel that as a tutor I first need to understand my student's strengths, whether their learning style is more auditory, visual, or photographic and tailor the lessons and material to fit their skills the best. Learning should never be boring and I try to share as much of the French culture into the academic program as possible. I have been tutoring high school and college students of all levels, AP and Honor classes. All my students report learning a great deal during the tutoring sessions as well as enjoying it!
