About Prema

Bonjour! My name is Prema, and I am passionate about helping students discover the beauty of the French language and culture. With 8 years of teaching experience, I have guided learners of all ages and levels—from complete beginners to advanced speakers—towards achieving their language goals. My teaching is built on three pillars: clarity, patience, and adaptability. I take time to explain concepts in simple terms, provide encouragement to boost confidence, and tailor every lesson to match the student’s needs. Whether you are preparing for an exam, learning French for travel or work, or simply wanting to improve your fluency, I will create a structured plan that suits your pace. Professionalism and reliability are at the heart of my approach. I prepare every lesson with care, provide constructive feedback, and make sure my students feel supported and motivated. You can trust me to guide you step by step, always respecting your learning journey and celebrating your progress. Learning a new language can be challenging, but with the right support, it becomes an exciting and rewarding adventure. I am here to help you gain confidence in your French and enjoy every step of the process.

About the lesson

My Approach as a French Tutor Teaching Method & Techniques I believe language learning should be interactive, practical, and enjoyable. My approach combines structured lessons with real-life communication practice. I use a variety of techniques such as role-playing, conversation exercises, storytelling, and multimedia resources to help students improve all four skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I adapt my method to each learner’s pace and goals, ensuring lessons are both effective and engaging. A Typical Lesson Plan Warm-up & Review – a short activity to revise previous content and build confidence. Introduction of New Topic – grammar, vocabulary, or cultural aspect, presented in a simple and clear way. Practice Activities – exercises, games, and conversations to apply the new knowledge. Real-Life Application – guided dialogues, role-plays, or short written tasks connected to everyday situations. Feedback & Homework – constructive feedback and personalized assignments to reinforce learning between sessions. What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor I personalize every lesson to the student’s objectives—whether it’s preparing for exams (DELF/DALF, school/university tests), improving conversational skills for travel or work, or mastering French for academic purposes. My strength lies in making students feel comfortable while pushing them to progress steadily. I also incorporate cultural insights, which makes learning French more authentic and enriching. Who My Lessons Are For Beginners discovering French for the first time Intermediate learners who want to strengthen grammar and expand vocabulary Advanced students preparing for official exams or professional needs School and university students seeking extra support Professionals and travelers who want to use French confidently in real situations
