About Violette
I am a 23 years old student of German and Linguistics. I have lived most of my life in Paris and have now been living in Edinburgh for 3 years — I am just starting my final year at the university!
Before deciding to move here and switch subjects, I was studying mathematics in one of the highest ranking universities in France (PLS, Lycée Henri IV). At that time, I was also tutoring teenagers in mathematics. When I moved to Edinburgh, I started doing homework help for younger children.
I was on a year abroad in Germany last year, but now that I am back, I want to start tutoring again!

I am a native French speaker with particularly good knowledge of language learning due to my studies in linguistics in the University of Edinburgh, where I am in my final year, and I have several years of experience in tutoring kids from age 8 to 16.
I would be happy to provide French lessons (speaking, writing) for students wishing to learn the language, or to provide homework help for French-speaking children in Edinburgh.
I can adapt to the needs of the student in terms of length, frequency, place of study!
