About Ina

I am a native Korean speaker with a background in television presenting and reporting for KBS, South Korea’s national broadcaster.

My work in news, factual programmes and live broadcasts required clear pronunciation, careful use of language and the ability to communicate with different audiences. I bring that experience to helping learners explore spoken Korean and express themselves with confidence.

Having lived and worked in South Korea, Japan and the UK, and learnt languages myself, I understand how daunting it can feel to start speaking a new language.

I want to share both my language and the culture behind it—from everyday expressions and politeness to the nuances you hear in Korean films and television. My aim is to create a welcoming space where you can ask questions, make mistakes and enjoy your progress.

About the lesson

Learn Korean through practical conversation, clear explanations and an introduction to Korean culture. My lessons are tailored to your level, interests and goals.

As a native Korean speaker and former KBS TV presenter and reporter, I bring professional experience in spoken Korean, pronunciation and communication to my lessons.

For beginners, we can start with Hangul, pronunciation and useful everyday expressions. If you already know some Korean, we can develop your conversation skills, vocabulary and understanding of grammar, including choosing polite or informal language appropriately.

Lessons combine guided conversation, listening and role-play, with supportive corrections and time to practise. We can also explore Korean film and television dialogue if that interests you.

Whether you are preparing for a trip, interested in Korean culture or learning for personal enjoyment, my aim is to help you communicate with greater confidence at a pace that suits you.
