About Anastasiia
I am a teacher of the Russian language and literature with five years of experience teaching Russian students in both in-person and online formats. Although I have not taught foreign students, I see this as an opportunity to bring a fresh perspective and adapt my teaching methods to different cultural contexts. My goal is to help my students achieve confident conversational proficiency in the Russian language. I also emphasize understanding the cultural aspects related to the language, enabling them to better integrate into Russian-speaking environments. This approach will allow them not only to speak the language but also to grasp its nuances and traditions.

I actively use interactive methods in my lessons. This not only makes the classes more engaging but also helps students apply the language in real-life situations, which contributes to better retention of the material.
Additionally, I strive to be accessible to my students outside of class. The opportunity to ask questions in an informal setting helps create an atmosphere of trust and support.
I prefer to work with a methodology that emphasizes more speaking during lessons and practicing norms and rules in homework assignments. This allows students to use the language more confidently in various situations!
