About Cecilia
I only spoke Spanish for the first 20 years of my life. For the second 20 years I learned English. I know first hand the difficulties of learning and mastering a new language. It is a journey, a challenge and a true joy...if you get the right help.
I graduated valedictorian in High School, finished my bachelor's degree majoring in Latin American Economics and Politics; Spanish Language and Literature and Cultural Anthropology. I obtained my Master's Degree in Urban Studies and served at the City University of New York for over a decade as Director of Several Programs.
Now, I live with my family in South America and dedicate my working time to writing, managing my own business, and teaching English and Spanish to students of all ages around the world.

I really enjoy tailoring my lessons to my student's interests and needs. I can teach through songs, poetry, prayer, recipes, games, simple conversations or complex lesson plans for serious exams! I am open to challenges, but also have an arsenal of techniques to support first time language learners as well as advance learners.
