Raquel is one of our best Spanish tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Raquel

I am an engineer and scientist, born in Venezuela, native spanish speaker and fluent english speaker. I have taught science subjects at tertiary institutions for many years, including at the ANU. I currently work in industry and also have an academic adjunct position at the University of Southern Queensland.

About the lesson

I believe that students learn in different ways, and to maximize their learning one needs to take into account their unique needs and learning styles. A sizable fraction of my students have come from so called non-traditional pathways, including mature/retirement-age students, fully employed
professionals, and undergrads from a wide range of backgrounds. I firmly believe that with tailored, appropriate support they can all be successful!

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Raquel.

Perfect! I just had my first lesson with Raquel last Thursday. From the minute I met her I knew we would get along well. She is super nice and easy to talk to. She explained everything she was teaching clearly and easy to understand. I left there completely understanding everything she had shown me throughout the lesson. Really looking forward to my next lesson.
Would highly recommend Raquel to anyone looking to learn Spanish.
