About Maria

I am from Colombia, I moved to the US when I was 14 years old now I am 22 years old and fluent in Spanish and English. I am a full-time student at Florida International University, on my way to becoming a full-time teacher and helping others fall in love with literature in both English and Spanish.

About the lesson

As a native Spanish speaker, I know how the language can be hard or complicated for those who are starting to learn it, but it is a beautiful language that could open so many doors for you and that is what makes it rewarding.

My lessons are based on proficiency placements, I will conduct a mini quiz for my students to take and demonstrate where they are at. After the first session is completed and your placement have been determined I will come up with a lesson plan according to your goals and learning mechanisms.

These lessons are for everyone who wants to learn or practice their Spanish! I can help you become successful and add a +1 language skill to your life and resume.

Maria is a great teacher in my opinion because she has the patience to sit and help you with the parts that you are struggling with the most, making it much easier to understand because of the way she speaks and teaches. She is also very kind and passionate about teaching, which is why I believe she is a good teacher.
