About RUDRA

I’m a BSc LLB student at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata, one of India’s leading law universities. I’m from Bhubaneswar, and I love helping students turn confusing ideas into clear, confident understanding.

Before college, I won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Cup (Durban, South Africa) and a silver medal at the All India National Karate Championship (Pune). I also placed 2nd at the SOA International Model United Nations and was 1st Runner-Up in Entrepreneurship at B-Ingenious 2022.
I’ve been where you are. I scored 92% in Class 10 and 88% in Class 12, and I know how it feels to balance studies, activities, and exams.

About the lesson

I start by finding out what you already know, because good teaching begins with where the student actually is. From there I use a few core methods:

Explaining in layers. I begin with the big picture in plain language, then add detail step by step, so each new idea has something to attach to.
Examples, analogies, and real-life cases. Abstract ideas stick better when tied to something concrete. If one explanation doesn’t land, I try another angle instead of repeating myself.
Questions over lectures. I ask you to predict, explain back, or apply what you’ve learned. This is called active recall, and it builds understanding far better than passive listening.
Learning from mistakes. Errors are useful information. I show where the reasoning went off track rather than just giving the right answer.
Practice with feedback. You work on exercises, problems, or drafts, and I respond with specific, constructive comments.
The usual structure of a class
Warm-up (5 minutes): a quick review of the last session and a check-in on goals or difficulties.
Introduction of the topic: a short overview of what we’ll cover and why it matters.
Guided explanation: I teach the concept with examples, pausing often to check understanding.
Practice: exercises, discussion, or problem-solving, first together and then on your own.
Feedback and correction: we go over what went well and what needs work.
Wrap-up and next steps: a brief summary, optional homework, and a preview of what comes next.

The pacing is flexible. If a topic needs more time, we stay with it.
