About Punya
Hi! I'm Punya, a student at NTU studying data science and AI. I have scored IB(42/45) and SAT(1560). I've always loved math, science, and coding, and I've spent time mentoring younger students in robotics, so I know how to explain tricky stuff in a way that actually makes sense. I'm patient, easygoing, and genuinely enjoy watching things click for someone. Looking forward to working with you!

My approach is Socratic: rather than memorising reactions, I ask guiding questions so you see the patterns behind them and can work out answers you have not seen before. We cover stoichiometry and mole calculations, atomic structure and bonding, energetics, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, redox and electrochemistry, and organic chemistry mechanisms. Each topic ends with exam-style practice focused on method marks, data questions and timing. Lessons are online, usually 1 hour and up to 1.5 hours when there are doubts to clear. I took Chemistry HL in the IB Diploma (42/45) and now study Data Science and AI at NTU. Lessons suit IB, JC and O-Level students.

I’ve known Punya since 5th grade, and he’s been my go-to person for everything academic ever since. Back in IGCSE and IB, whenever I was stuck or needed clear notes, Punya was always the first person I reached out to.
If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have achieved my 44 in the IBDP.
Right before exams, he explained complex topics faster and way clearer than our teachers ever did. Moreover, he is super patient and creates a judgment-free space to ask any question, and constantly gives you the confidence to succeed.
I highly recommend learning with Punya!
