About Dulcie
I am interested in helping students find their most efficient route to success, whilst also learning how to enjoy the subject! I want to nurture young minds and help them grow their confidence whilst facing what can be a nerve racking time of their lives. I’m able to offer support on all levels and as a student myself students should feel comfortable and unashamed to share their struggles. I currently partake in a reading programme at school which aids young people in improving their literacy ability. This experience has helped me gain patience and understanding around those who may lack confidence academically.

As a student currently studying Maths at A-Level, I am able to offer my help on basic and more complex topics. Last summer, I achieved a grade 9 in maths therefore I am able to share my knowledge and techniques that will enable other students to excel!

I have been in the same classes as Dulcie since year 7. She has always been a confident and intelligent girl and grown into the smartest and kindest young woman that I know today. Throughout our GCSE years, I struggled a lot. However, she was always there with a helping hand during lessons and after school to help me understand the content we had been learning in our lessons. We sat next to each other in maths, biology and chemistry (three of my most difficult subjects) and without her I know I would not have got the grades that I achieved. She never just gave me the answers, she took the time to explain the method or thought process and encouraged me to find the answer for myself with her assistance. I would highly recommend her as a tutor as I’ve watched her help a young girl through the reading programme in our school and I know that girl has grown in confidence and ability.
