About Tom
I am a full-time student studying Engineering at Sheffield University. I live just outside the Lake District and enjoy all that the national park has to offer in my free time. I am a hard worker achieving A*A*AA with my top grades in Maths and FM. I have provided tuition for over a year to students with various goals for their academic journeys and look forward to working with more.

Tom (a friend of mine) started tutoring me maths, and all three sciences in my GCSE period. These sessions brought my grades up in these subjects from 4, 5, 5, and 6, to 7s across the board, a total increase of 8 grades. Tom’s style of tutoring was relatively informal, but was systematic, and involved creating a wider understanding of the subjects he loved. Tom is a friendly and understanding person, who is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of academics. I highly recommend Tom, as he has proven his skills and aptitude as a tutor to me already.
