I'm a genetics and statistics student at the University of Otago with passions in genetics and statistics as well as mathematics. I have experience tutoring some of the younger students at my high school, and helping prepare my two younger siblings for their NCEA exams. I really enjoy the process of tutoring subjects I'm passionate about and often provide alternative ways of approaching problems that help students understand concepts more clearly.

I can teach all NCEA maths, stats, and biology and below though I have the most experience teaching maths, and level 2 and below biology. Lessons can last as long as the student needs and I will tailor each lesson to what the students weaknesses are and the steps that can be taken to improve their grades and build a solid knowledge foundation. I generally believe that building a students foundation up is that way that students get the most out of a lesson but often do so in a manner that exposes them to what their next steps are going so they have more confidence when they get to the 'harder' material
