I took a degree at Oriel College, Oxford, followed by a Diploma in Translation (City Univ, London) and a PGCE (Christchurch, Canterbury). I have 10 years experience and many happy clients, young and old, of many different backgrounds and abilities.

Methodology varies according to student's needs. I place great emphasis on vocab acquisition and pronunciation, which I consider of greater importance than strict grammatical precision (though grammar is not neglected). Text, oral and aural exercises are key at all levels.
