Bonjour! I’m Siya.
Passionate French tutor dedicated to helping students of all levels build confidence, fluency, and a love for the language. With professional training in French and hands-on experience tutoring learners from beginners to advanced, I focus on making lessons engaging, practical, and tailored to each student’s needs.
I have experience guiding students in speaking, reading, writing, and exam preparation, including DELF and TCF. My approach combines structure with flexibility, ensuring that lessons are clear, interactive, and enjoyable. I take pride in creating a friendly, supportive, and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.

Every lesson is carefully tailored to meet your individual needs, whether you want to improve conversational skills, master grammar, prepare for exams, or expand your vocabulary and writing abilities. Lessons are interactive and engaging, using tools like Google Slides and Docs to review material and practice writing, and I focus on turning challenges into strengths while keeping learning enjoyable. I create my own custom teaching materials but can also incorporate textbooks, worksheets, and online resources to best support your learning style.
For students eager to progress quickly, homework is provided to reinforce what we’ve covered. I offer personalized one-on-one sessions, with in-person lessons supported by printed materials for hands-on learning. Students committing to a full term receive detailed feedback and access to a Google Calendar tracking lesson progress and session links.
I motivate students with positive reinforcement, creating a supportive environment where confidence and curiosity grow. For intermediate and advanced learners, immersion techniques can be used to boost fluency. Flexible scheduling is available, with free rescheduling and cancellations for online lessons. A free 15-minute online meet and greet, including an initial assessment, is offered before your first lesson, and a short pre-lesson form helps align lessons with your goals and preferences.
