About Nadia
My background is business administration (accounting). I am a mom of two children and have been dedicated to my family for 7 years. I've offered private lessons since 2007 including children (speaking, writing, and pronunciation in French) and one teenager (help with French assigments)

Depending of the age of the student, I work with a French beginner book. I start with learning the alphabet, the sounds, each lesson can focus on a sound or two for example "an" or "ou" sounds "oo" in english. Then trying to make a small sentence such as " la voiture est rouge" or " je m'appelle ...."
I use images to illustrate the words. I include games as well so the child doesn't lose attention quickly.
Learning via play is my method. For older student, I listen to the request and try to provide some clues. I help write the sentence correctly so it makes sense.
