About Issac
As I have said, I am a passionate speed skater of 15 years and have an ICP beginner's coach certificate. I know a lot about techniques and postures that aren't normally shared on the internet unless you know the right terms and I hope to share it with you. I hope that I would be of help on your journey of learning, no matter if your goal is to skate across Canada (or wherever you live) or just in your front yard and I would make it enjoyable.

As an experienced speed skater who has taught classes, I am sure anyone who is a beginner or mediocre at skating can gain something from my classes. My beginner's lessons include the proper stances, how to fall and stand up, how to stop, skating forwards and backward, swizzle, jump, etc. More advanced lessons include how to skate on the street, pushing, crossovers, and correction of forms. Other than teaching techniques, I would love to make the lessons fun. First, I would revise things we have learned together, then teach new techniques or revise old ones if needed. At the end of it, I would use interesting games to revise what we have learned.

Perfect! Issac is a very pleasant, polite and patient young man. He was very clear with his instructions to me and demonstrated after he explained. It was a pleasure working with him. Unfortunately due to changes in my schedule I had to discontinue the tutoring sessions.
