About Taisia
I am currently a Physics with Theoretical Physics undergraduate at Imperial College London, a uni consistently ranking top 10 globally. I am incredibly passionate about physics, and aim to go into academia when I'm older. As such, I love talking to people about how cool physics and maths is, and explaining hard concepts in easy-to-understand ways (tutoring is the perfect job for me!).
As for credentials, I myself achieved four A*s in A Levels (Physics, Maths, Further Maths, English Lit) and ten A*s at GCSE level. I have tutored a student in mathematics who successfully passed the 11+ exam for her dream school, as well as a year 10 student who achieved a 9 in his physics mock GCSE.
I really hope to be able to share my passion and appreciation for these fascinating subjects with you!

I believe that all students are capable of understanding maths and physics- it's the way that you learn that matters! I offer personalised one on one sessions for those looking to improve their maths and physics skills.
I believe the key to good grades is understanding, not mindless memorising, and I do my best to improve my student's understanding, not only of the material but also of what their course requires of them- knowing what a mark scheme expects of you is essential for good grades!
I have previous experiences in tutoring students for the 11+ and for GCSEs, and having done my own GCSES and A Levels quite recently, I have recent experience in acing those exams. I also help students develop their knowledge in the years between exams with any content they may be struggling with.
I offer one hour (online) sessions at a rate of £25 per lesson.

I highly recommend Taisia as a maths tutor. She is an excellent tutor to help kids with any difficulty in maths. She can customise her lesson based on student's requirements. Taisia is an exceptionally gifted mathematician whose firm grasp on mathematical concepts allows her to clearly and precisely explain tricky concepts in a way that not only helps motivate the solution, but the intuition behind it, allowing for a deeper understanding of the content as a whole. Speaking as a Oxford Mathematics undergraduate, there are few people I would recommend more highly than Taisia for a role as a mathematics tutor.
Taisia is a fab tutor! She’s really good at explaining tricky Maths (and Physics) problems and is patient when I don’t understand things and want to go over them again. Her teaching methods are very flexible and cater to my needs! Would definitely recommend!
