About Raveena
I am a second year medical student at UCL. I completed my A levels at St Olave's Grammar school in 2022; I studied Maths, Chemistry and Biology, securing top grades - A*A*A*. I passed my 11+ exams for Kent, Bexley and Newstead Wood Grammar school in 2014 with top marks. In 2020, I completed my GCSEs at Newstead Wood School and achieved grade 9s in all ten subjects. I am a proficient tutor with 2 years of experience; both online via Superprof and in person for my neighbours for maths and the sciences. Over the past 2 years, I have taught students of varying abilities from year 3 to year 11. This has helped me identify common mistakes made by students and how to tackle them. For GCSE maths, I have experience in teaching the AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards. I am a passionate teacher and am dedicated to helping my students grow and reach their full potential.

Hi there! I'm Raveena, a second year medical student. As I am a current student myself, I am very familiar with the school system, exam patterns and study techniques for GCSE, KS3 and KS2. My teaching experience has helped me realise exactly which parts of the curriculum students struggle with. My approach to teaching is to start with a few worked examples for a specific topic, and then give the students some practice. As the lesson progresses, I gauge my student’s strengths and weaknesses and alter the lesson structure to focus on where they need help the most. I also give my students useful tips along the way to help them tackle maths problems with ease. In addition, I can help them with their school homework and give them targeted past paper questions to work through (this is for GCSE students specifically).
