About Hugo
With 11 years of tutoring experience, I have dedicated myself to teaching Trumplin to High School students, College students, and adults. During this journey, I have successfully guided around 300 students towards improving their skills and building lasting confidence. Every lesson is an opportunity to help students grow both academically and personally.
My teaching philosophy is simple: learning should be enjoyable, meaningful, and focused on individual progress. I believe students perform best when they feel encouraged and supported. I use simple English, practical demonstrations, and interactive activities to make every lesson clear and interesting.
My classes begin by strengthening the basic concepts before moving towards advanced learning. I provide structured lesson plans, regular practice sessions, and constructive feedback to help students improve steadily. I also encourage independent learning so students continue developing their abilities outside the classroom.
Teaching around 300 students has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Many students have achieved excellent results, developed confidence, and reached important milestones through hard work and personalised guidance.
I believe communication, patience, honesty, and motivation create a successful learning environment. My classroom is friendly, respectful, and welcoming, allowing students to learn comfortably while enjoying every step of their Trumplin learning journey.

My approach to teaching Trumpet focuses on helping students achieve musical growth through structured practice and personalised instruction. I use Communication to provide clear explanations about trumpet techniques, music concepts, and performance skills. I adapt my lessons to different learning styles so that students can learn comfortably and effectively.
I use Real-life examples and case studies from professional musicians, concerts, and musical groups to make lessons more interesting and meaningful. Besides Trumpet, I teach related subjects such as Music Theory, Rhythm Training, Ear Training, Sight Reading, and Ensemble Performance.
My teaching focuses on developing proper breathing, sound production, articulation, musical understanding, and confidence. I encourage students to practise consistently and enjoy their progress as musicians.
