About Liyanaa Athira

I am an Economics graduate with a love for languages. Although my academic background is in economics, I’ve always been passionate about learning and sharing languages—especially English and Malay. I believe that language is not just a subject, but a key to confidence, communication, and connection. I decided to start tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping others grow and discover the joy of learning. Teaching gives me the chance to make a positive impact on young learners, and I aim to create lessons that are both meaningful and enjoyable. I'm patient, encouraging, and committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I offer private English and Malay lessons specially designed for primary school students in Malaysia. Here's what you can expect from my classes:

Patient and engaging teaching style– I create a supportive environment where students feel confident to learn at their own pace.

Interactive and fun lessons – I will use storytelling, songs, games, visual aids, and real-life role-playing to keep learning enjoyable.

Balanced skill development – Each lesson includes a mix of reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities.

Flexible, student-focused approach – Lessons are customized based on the student’s learning level, school needs, and personal interests.

Lesson duration– Typically 60 minutes per session.

Beginner-friendly tutoring – While I am new to formal tutoring, I’m passionate about teaching and helping students understand language concepts.

Suitable for – Primary school students of all levels, whether they need academic support or want to build their confidence in English or Malay.
