About Sandhya
I discovered yoga during my corporate career and felt drawn to its balance of movement, breath, and mindfulness. As my personal practice grew, I explored the discipline more deeply and eventually completed my 500-hour RYT certification in Bangalore and Mysore. I am a dedicated practitioner for over seven years and have been teaching both online and offline for over three years.
I integrate elements of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Iyengar traditions into my classes, focusing on mindful alignment, steady breath, and sustainable movement. I continue to study and practice yoga as both a professional discipline and a lifelong personal path—one that I cultivate on and off the mat.

My classes are designed to help you develop strength, flexibility, balance and greater awareness of your body. Drawing from Iyengar Yoga, Hatha and Vinyasa, I focus on mindful movement, precise alignment and adapting each practice to the individual.
I believe yoga is not about forcing the body into a particular shape. It is about understanding how your body moves and learning to practise with greater awareness, stability and confidence.
Classes are personalised to your experience, needs and goals, whether you are a beginner, returning to yoga after a break, or looking to deepen an existing practice. I have a particular interest in lower back health, neck and shoulder wellbeing, posture, mobility and women's wellness.
I use props such as bricks, belts, chair and bolster to make the practice more accessible and to support correct alignment.
My aim is to help you develop a sustainable yoga practice that becomes part of your everyday life.
