About David
I’m David Devanagari, a musician, producer, composer, and live artist with an international background across Europe, Latin America, and the United States. I am currently based in Miami.
Throughout my career, I have worked with live music, music production, organic instruments, Indian music, world music, and sound experiences for international audiences. My catalog has reached over 5 million Spotify streams, and my artistic work has helped me develop a deep relationship with rhythm, melody, improvisation, and emotional expression.
As a teacher, my approach is patient, clear, and personalized. I help each student discover their own musical path with the handpan, combining technique, sensitivity, creativity, and enjoyment.

My handpan lessons are designed for people who want to learn in a practical, musical, and personal way, whether they are complete beginners or already have experience.
We can work on technique, rhythm, coordination, melody, dynamics, improvisation, composition, and musicality. I don’t teach the handpan only as a technical instrument, but as a way to connect with your own sound, develop musical sensitivity, and gain confidence while playing.
Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level, pace, and goals. We can work on basic patterns, grooves, hand independence, phrasing, fluidity, expressive tools, accompaniment, original pieces, or preparation for live performance.
My approach combines technique, creativity, and emotion, so each student can learn clearly, enjoy the process, and find a natural way to express themselves through the instrument.
