About Nicole
I have more than fifteen years experience tutoring and have also worked as a graduate teaching assistant for six years. I have expertise in writing and conveying information to a wide range of audiences. BA in Political Science from UBC MA in Political Studies from University of Manitoba PhD Candidate (final year of program) in Canadian Studies (focus on politics) from Trent University Teaching is a major passion of mine and I am proud to maintain a safe, welcoming, and non-discriminatory environment.

I have a wide range of teaching experience and am open to tutoring people of any age. I do not have a set lesson plan as I believe in tailoring my tutoring approach to the specific individual I am tutoring.

Nicole's political knowledge is exceptional. Even though she was in the middle of her PhD studies, she found time for me and really took the time to help me understand the political science concept my professor couldn't help me with and was able to explain in a way I could understand. I highly recommend her as a tutor and a great person to discuss political sciences with!
Amazing tutor! Nicole is so knowledgeable and patient. She helped me pass my university politics classes at the University of British Columbia by breaking down concepts and explaining it in terms I could understand, she also gave me amazing study tips to keep me on track. She's been a Teachers assistant in many of my classes and always feels welcoming to any and all questions I have through email and in person, she's a very safe person to learn from and very encouraging. She even helped me polish my master's application! I couldn't have done it without her, definitely recommend.
