**About Me**
I am a PhD researcher in Health Psychology with experience in healthcare research, service evaluation, qualitative and mixed-methods research, behaviour change and patient experience.
Alongside my doctoral research, I have worked on NHS and university research projects, including service evaluations, qualitative interviews, thematic analysis, systematic reviews, questionnaire development and research ethics. I also have experience supporting university teaching and working with students and healthcare professionals.
I particularly enjoy helping students make research feel more manageable. Research methods can often seem complicated or overwhelming, especially when you are trying to apply them to your own dissertation or thesis. My approach is practical, clear and focused on helping you understand the decisions you are making rather than simply giving you instructions to follow.
I can support undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students with areas including research design, qualitative methods, mixed methods, thematic analysis, NVivo, systematic and scoping reviews, dissertation planning, academic writing, research ethics, questionnaire and interview design, service evaluation and health psychology research.
I am particularly well suited to students studying psychology, nursing, public health, healthcare, allied health and related social science subjects.
Sessions are tailored to your project and level of experience. You might need help understanding a research method, planning your dissertation, developing themes from qualitative data, structuring a methodology chapter, interpreting feedback from your supervisor or simply gaining confidence with research.
My aim is to help you develop skills that you can use independently throughout your studies and future research work.

My lessons are tailored to your level, research topic and academic goals. I support undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students, as well as healthcare professionals who want to strengthen their research skills.
I can help with research methods, dissertation and thesis planning, qualitative and mixed-methods research, thematic analysis, NVivo, questionnaire and interview design, systematic and scoping reviews, research ethics, service evaluation, academic writing and interpreting research findings.
My approach is practical and supportive. Rather than simply telling you what to do, I help you understand the reasoning behind research decisions so that you can apply the skills independently to your own project.
Lessons can focus on a specific task, such as developing a research question, refining a methodology, organising qualitative codes, developing themes, planning a literature review, understanding supervisor feedback or improving the structure of a dissertation chapter.
I have experience working across health psychology, healthcare research, patient experience, behaviour change, service evaluation and NHS-related research. I therefore particularly welcome students and professionals working in psychology, nursing, public health, healthcare and related disciplines.
Lessons are available online and can be adapted to beginners who are learning research methods for the first time or more advanced students who need focused support with a particular stage of their research project.
