About Ernest
Currently studying Materialities of Literature (PhD degree) at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Working as researcher for CAPES. Have a Master Degree in Literary Studies (Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature) by the Federal University of MinasGerais (UFMG), in Brazil. Have studies focus on research about literature, arts and other media. In the first half of 2016 he qualified for Erasmus scholarship trainee at the University of Salamanca – Spain. Was awarded for his work with the CNPq scholarship and a scholarship student of CAPES – program PROGRAD, which intends to initiate graduate students as teachers. Taught during the year 2014 the subject UNI003 code – Workshop reading and production of academic texts in Portuguese at UFMG. Previously, during the year 2013, Taught the subject of LET288 code – Thematic Studies of Literary Theory: Lyric poetry: theory and practice. The latter also in Portuguese and at the same university. Outside of academia, Worked as a proofreader, translator and editor for some Brazilian publishers as AV Group (BA),Africas.com Issues (SP), LivoBooks – DiscoveryKids (BH), FinoTraço (BH) and Reliquary (BH). Recently collaborated with the online newspaper LatinoPost (NY).
