About Youssef
My passion for science began with a childhood fascination for space, leading to a decade of specialised education in Astrophysics. After completing my PhD in Physics, where I conducted cutting-edge research on black holes, I moved to the UK to work as a Research Fellow in Human-centric AI at the University of Nottingham. While I enjoy tackling today’s biggest scientific question (AI), my heart remains in education. I have over five years of experience as a lecturer and tutor, and I am dedicated to helping the next generation of scientists, engineers, and doctors master the foundations of Physics and Mathematics.

As a Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham and a PhD physicist, I bring over 5 years of university teaching experience to my private lessons. I have delivered courses to diverse student populations and provided over 300 hours of academic mentoring. My methodology focuses on a step-by-step approach. I believe that mastering the foundations is the only way to tackle complex problems. Having professionally designed and authored over 100 physics problems for educational publishers, I offer a unique insider perspective on how exams are written and how to avoid common traps. I teach Physics and Maths to students from A-Level to undergraduate level. Lessons are typically 60 minutes. My goal is to help you achieve that "lightbulb moment" where the concepts finally make sense.
