About Jean-Paul
I have lived in a few countries, with a plan to add more to that list, and I enjoy conversations with people from different parts of the world. I have also obtained qualifications and/or done research in different fields of study (e.g. accounting, theology, urban sociology and human geography).
I enjoy conversations on a variety of topics. I also always interested in learning something new, so perhaps we could start by talking about you, your field of work/education, your city/country or similar topics.
These are great ways to practice a language without needing to think too much about a topic of conversation.
Later we could expand our topics of conversation.

I'm here to provide English conversation practice, including the option to focus on Business English or English for Academic Purposes. I'm a former university lecturer, with a PhD in sociology, but I also have a background in accounting, so I am equipped for both those areas.
Conversation classes will typically last 50 minutes and will focus on an agreed upon topic.
