About Fredrick
I am a Policy Analyst at the Ministry of Health working on Disabled People Health. I previously worked at the Ministry for Ethnic Communities, where Ied two projects: an employment action plan for former refugees, recent migrants, and ethnic communities and a survey on the experiences and concerns of ethnic communities regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
I hold a PhD degree in Religious Studies from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. I earned my B.A. and MPhil degrees in Religious Studies from the University of Ghana. I also hold a Certificate in Field Studies in Religious Studies from the University of Gävle in Sweden.
My research expertise is in the History of Religions, with a focus on Christianity in Africa. I also have experience researching Christianity in Northern Europe and multidisciplinary background that enable me, to bring broad-ranging, comparative perspectives and genuinely global horizons to my work. My current research interests are New/Recent/Migrant Pentecostal Ministries in New Zealand, New Religious Movements in New Zealand and Faith Communities and Social Cohesion in New Zealand
