About Brittany
I am a philosophy graduate with also a semester abroad in China and semester industry doing research for my university. I am also undergoing a PGDE teacher training course so I have the skills, mindset and passionate to teach. I have also previously worked as part of a governmental program for young people whereby I lead my own team of students during outdoor activities and also leading classroom based activities .

My teaching method is very interactive, I prefer to allow the students to have a say which helps them to develop their critical and creative thinking skills. I will often use questions and images to prompt thinking by asking ‘what do you think’. I also believe the use of retrieval quizzes as a starter helps to retrieve previous knowledge from other lessons. Moreover I also like to set high expectations for my students as a means of challenging their thinking so I will always have stretch and challenge activities.
